Rooted in lived experience and affirmation

As the daughter of immigrants, my personal lived experiences have deeply shaped my understanding of connection, belonging, and the necessity of spaces where we feel truly seen. My close ties with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities inspire my practice every day. I know how transformative it is to work with someone who genuinely respects the intricacies of culture and identity, fostering healing that can ripple across families and generations.

Walking alongside you on your journey

As an Asian American woman and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I bring both professional experience and lived perspective to my work. My own identity has shaped my understanding of how culture, family, race, gender, and societal expectations can influence the way we see ourselves and experience the world.

For some clients, working with an Asian American woman may offer a sense of cultural familiarity or recognition that can make it easier to feel understood. For others, it may simply be meaningful to work with someone who values the complexity of identity and understands that your experiences cannot always be separated from the culture and systems around you.

Regardless of our similarities or differences, I strive to meet you with curiosity, respect, and cultural humility—creating a space where you don’t have to explain, minimize, or hide important parts of who you are.

Navigating your mountain together

If you are feeling overwhelmed, remember that you do not have to climb your personal Mount Everest alone. I don’t place myself above you—I walk beside you, helping you find your footing, build resilience, and uncover your inner strengths. You do not need to have everything figured out to take the first step toward living a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

A collaborative space built on trust and safety

When you sit with me, my priority is that you feel comfortable enough to slowly let your guard down and simply be yourself. Therapy with me is never about being analyzed or judged; you are the ultimate expert in your own life. We move at a pace that feels grounded and right for you, working collaboratively to navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

"Therapy takes courage, but with the right partnership, it can be deeply transformative. You don't have to figure it all out alone—we can take the very first step together."
